Haridwar → Barkot
Morning
- Pickup from Haridwar Railway Station/Hotel.
- Drive towards Barkot via Mussoorie.
En-route Sightseeing
- Kempty Falls (Optional stop)
- Prakasheshwar Mahadev Temple
- Scenic Yamuna Valley views
Evening
- Arrival at Barkot. Check-in at hotel.
- Rest & acclimatization. Dinner at hotel.
Barkot → Yamunotri → Barkot
Early Morning
- Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Janki Chatti.
- Trek to Yamunotri (6 km) - Options: Pony, Palki, Porter (extra cost).
At Yamunotri
- Darshan of Goddess Yamuna.
- Holy dip at Yamuna River.
- Visit Surya Kund (hot water spring).
- Cook rice in temple kund (ritual).
- Visit Bhairavnath Temple.
Return
- Trek back to Janki Chatti. Drive back to Barkot.
Barkot → Uttarkashi
Morning
- Breakfast and checkout. Drive along Yamuna and Bhagirathi river routes.
Arrival in Uttarkashi
- Check-in at hotel.
- Visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple & Shakti Temple.
- Evening walk near Bhagirathi River.
Uttarkashi → Gangotri → Uttarkashi
Early Morning
- Breakfast. Drive to Gangotri through Harsil Valley.
- En-route: Harsil Valley (photo stop), Bhairon Ghati.
At Gangotri
- Darshan at Gangotri Temple.
- Holy dip in River Bhagirathi. Perform pooja.
- Visit nearby river banks.
Gangotri is the origin place of River Ganga. Gaumukh glacier is further 18 km trek.
Uttarkashi → Sersi (Kedarnath Base)
Scenic Drive
- Long but scenic drive via Tehri & Rudraprayag.
- En-route: Tehri Dam View, Devprayag (Sangam), Rudraprayag Sangam.
Arrival
- Arrival at Sersi (Helipad base for Kedarnath).
- Prepare for Kedarnath trek.
Sersi → Kedarnath (Trek)
Trek Route: Sonprayag → Bhimbali → Rambara → Linchauli → Kedarnath.
At Kedarnath: Check-in at tent/guesthouse. Evening darshan at Kedarnath Temple. Visit Shankaracharya Samadhi.
Important:
- Trek difficulty: Moderate to Difficult.
- Oxygen level low at high altitude. Walk slowly.
- Kedarnath is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva.
Kedarnath → Sersi
- Early morning temple darshan (optional).
- Start return trek to Gaurikund.
- Drive back to Sersi.
Sersi → Joshimath
En-route
- Karnaprayag Sangam
- Nandprayag Sangam
- Vishnuprayag
Arrival in Joshimath
- Visit Narasimha Temple.
- Visit Adi Shankaracharya Math.
Joshimath → Badrinath → Srinagar
Morning & Badrinath
- Drive to Badrinath.
- Holy dip at Tapt Kund.
- Darshan at Badrinath Temple.
Visit
- Mana Village (Last Indian Village)
- Vyas Gufa, Bhim Pul, Saraswati River
After darshan, drive to Srinagar.
Srinagar → Haridwar
- Breakfast at hotel.
- Drive back to Haridwar.
- Final stop at Devprayag (if missed earlier).
- Arrival at Haridwar. Tour concludes.
